getting there
The wedding will be held in Windsor, which is between
Santa Rosa and Healdsburg. The main wedding hotel (the Hilton) is in Santa
Rosa.
With favorable traffic, Santa Rosa is about one hour north of San Francisco,
and 90 minutes north of both the San Francisco and Oakland airports.

|
Airports
|
|
You can fly in to either San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK) airports.

|
Driving
|
|
While there are airport shuttles to Santa Rosa, we highly recommend
that you rent a car at the airport, as you'll want to spend time
exploring the local area.

Traffic
|
|
Rush hour traffic is always an issue around here, but it will be
even more so over Memorial Day weekend. If at all possible, avoid
arriving on Friday afternoon, when rush hour can start as early
as 3:00 pm. Saturday morning may also be a little slow. As far as
departures, you'll experience some congestion on Monday afternoon
and morning rush hour traffic until around 9:30 on Tuesday morning.

where to stay
We've reserved a block of rooms at the Santa Rosa
Hilton (www.winecountryhilton.com).
The basic rate is $130, and there is a three-night minimum if you stay
Saturday night. We especially liked the rooms in the building around the
pool. If you want to upgrade, patio rooms overlooking the pool are $160.

To reserve a room at the Hilton, call them at
(707) 523-7555, and tell them you're with the
Ladin/Hoover wedding. If you want a room near the pool, request
